Asus ROG Maximus III Formula
Asus ROG Maximus Formula 3 is the third motherboard from a family called Maximus, which is just like its predecessor intended for fans of computer games and hardware overclockers.
The new motherboard from a computer company Asus is the first of its kind by type: ROG, which is »written on skin« to upcoming Intel processor with Lynnfield core and Socket LGA 1156.
This newcomer is equipped with chipset Intel p55. It has four DDR3 memory slots which can get to frequencies up to 1333MHz. Three PCI Express 16x slots and two normal PCI slots. For connecting other devices there are available: SATA, PATA and eSATA interfaces.
Because the new motherboard is equipped with two passive systems, it will be able to use Intel p55 and nVidia NF200 together. Motherboard Asus ROG Maximus 3 Formula will be sold simultaneously with Lynnfield core, predicted to be in October 2009.
